It is only a short time from the full launch of Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning.This review can give you a general impression for those who still haven't bought the Collector's Edition. Actually it is not easy to get a clear answer to this question. Every one have different taste, some like air battles like Star War Galaxy. Imaginary fairy tale style games.
If you are a guy who is hoping this game will change the post-WOW world. We just feel sorry to let you down. You have no need to spend money on it, stick to WOW. We did see some surprising elements in this game. WAR is not that kind of game you hoped for. Someone who interested in this game still can try. Just personal view.
One of the fresh features of the game is that this game is an RvR game at its core, even though it does offer PvP elements. If you jump to this game to do the PvE portion,you're probably going to be disappointed. But for the most part this isn't where the meat or innovation of the game shines.If you're a novice at PvP, don't jump into the Open RvR servers. There is plenty of RvR action on the Core servers, and you don't run the risk of getting ganked again and again by some high level clown looking for some kicks at your expense.if you're one of those players who loves the thrill of being in danger at all times and enjoy the realism of not being artificially separated and restricted by level, the Open RvR servers are probably right up your alley. Who needs those carebears anyway?
The graphic of the WAR is really good. The art style does capture the feeling of the Warhammer Universe and that while the art style as a whole is reminiscent of the style in World of Warcraft.the implementation of the graphics is such that they look modern especially at the highest settings... seriously and no pun intended, and really enhance the overall feel of the game.
If you're an MMO fan, you're probably going to get your money's worth out of your initial purchase. At least we play this game and really enjoy it. IT is just a little reference. Of course it is all depend on your self.
